Sculpture oriented around the life and work of Val Plumwood; philosopher, writer, and activist who survived a saltwater crocodile attack in Kakadu in 1984.
This work was developed during a residency at the Northern Territory Wildlife Park. Its research, materials, and mythology is connected to Larrakia lands. I acknowledge the Larrakia peoples as Traditional Owners of the Darwin Region and pay my respects to Larrakia Elders past, present and future. I recognise the continuity of practices and knowledge that nurture Country and community.
